"Research in Germany” at AACR 2022, the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research

Over the past two years, the AACR’s Annual Meeting had to take place in virtual formats only. This year’s meeting will now finally bring together international participants on-site in New Orleans, USA and additionally on a virtual platform in light of the most important annual meeting in the field of cancer research worldwide.

As part of the initiative “Research in Germany”, the DFG will provide comprehensive information on the German research landscape in the field of cancer research and on funding opportunities for researchers of all career levels together with further funding organisations as well as with the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the Cluster of Excellence “Image-guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies“ (iFIT) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine (ITEM).

Meet the Scientist at the Booth“, Tuesday, April 12, 12:15 – 1:15 CT, Booth #2063

„Research in Germany“ invites you to a „Meet the Scientist at the Booth“ event at the AACR annual meeting. On-site participants will have the chance to get in touch with representatives of German cutting-edge research and to learn more about individual career paths in the field of cancer research in Germany.

Take this opportunity to speak directly with scientists from different German cancer research institutions and exchange experiences and thoughts on research and career opportunities in Germany whilst enjoying a light snack and a cooled drink.
