Information on the topic:
In Germany, research in the humanities is primarily conducted at universities but also at non-university research institutions. Almost all universities and many universities of applied sciences host a research section in these fields. The spectrum ranges from small monothematic working groups to large interdisciplinary departments and covers a variety of topics from traditional areas to new explorative research fields.
