Research in Germany at the 29th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC 2024)

From 21 to 26 July 2024, the 29th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC2024) will take place, for the first time in South America, in the city of Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. This traditional forum will be dedicated to recent advances and perspectives in the field of liquid crystals.

As part of the initiative “Research in Germany”, the DFG Office Latin America and DAAD Brazil will provide comprehensive information on the German research landscape and on funding opportunities for researchers of all career levels. Join us for the information session on July 25!

Science Lunch on Grants, Fellowships, Exchange and Collaboration Programs for Research in and with Germany, Thursday, July 25, 2024, 12:00 pm to 13:30 pm (Local Time)

Representatives of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will provide an insight into the German research landscape, including information on funding schemes and collaboration opportunities. Moreover, one scientist working in the field of Liquid Crystal Research in Germany will give insights into his experiences in the German research scenario. Afterwards, attendees will get the chance to ask questions and seek individual advice.

The event will be held in English and is free of charge.
